We know that funding any Masters degree can be a challenge. That's why we offer interest-free payment plans through our finance partner, Flywire.

how payment works

Before starting your degree course, to confirm your place, you pay an initial deposit of £1,000. The rest of your course fee is then divided into equal termly instalments over the full length of your course.

You will be invoiced each term or semester and you have three months to pay. If you want to pay your whole course up front you are welcome to do so. Equally, you can pay termly, or pay the termly invoice in three smaller instalments. It’s entirely up to you. The longer your schedule, the less you pay each term. We don't charge interest.

Flywire offers a wide range of payment options. You are able to compare payment methods and find the one that is the most convenient and the best value for you.

Student loans

In parts of the UK you can apply for the following student loans to study for one of our Masters degrees.

You will be invoiced at the beginning of each term (or semester) to coincide with your loan payments, and you will then have 30 days  to pay.

We are not currently aware of student loans being available in other parts of the world, including the USA (this includes the GI Bill for veterans). However, we cannot stay up to date with every funding option for every country, so you may wish to research and see if there are any local arts councils/funds, charities and employer schemes available to you.

Worried about financial or time commitments?

If you are worried about the financial or time commitment of a Masters degree, we offer a range of options to help, should the need arise.

Flexibility

You can change to a slower schedule at the end of each term. That means not only less work each week but also spreading your payments over a longer period of time.

Pause Your Course

You can pause your studies completely at the end of each term until your circumstances improve.

Limited Financial Commitment

If you can no longer afford your degree, you are only committed to paying in blocks of 60 credits, the equivalent of one term full time – typically one third of your MA, or a quarter of an MFA.

EU Students and VAT

In general degree courses are not subject to VAT. However, due to changes in the EU regulations that came into effect this year, some students, resident in the EU may now be required to pay VAT. If you are undertaking your course purely for personal enrichment with no intention of finding some income, then you will be liable to pay VAT on your tuition fees. If however you are intending to find work in connection with your course, you may not.
