The goal of this course is to show you the songwriter's process in its simplest form. We'll be discussing the goals of songwriting, the common difficulties, and showing you how you can go about applying your musical abilities in the context of contemporary songwriting.

- Adding rhythm: Most contemporary songs will need a rhythm section. In these videos we look at building the bass and drum tracks.
- More ways than one: Here Irwin shows us how he typically goes about writing songs, exploring different ideas to the previous modules in this course.
